Continuously Variable Valve Timing Solenoid harness is open or shorted
Continuously Variable Valve Timing Solenoid circuit poor electrical connection
Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
To assist with cold start conditions the camshaft timing can be adjusted to allow for optimum starting conditions. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the Engine Control Module (ECM) is unable to control the actuator correctly. Oil pressure and quality should be tested before any electrical fault finding is carried out.
