Description
The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) continuously monitors its own internal memory status, internal circuits, and output signals transmitted to the throttle actuator. This self-check insures that the Powertrain Control Module is functioning properly. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the Powertrain Control Module Read Only Memory (ROM) has been corrupted.
