Description
The Transmission Control Module (TCM) monitors the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC). The TCM provides electrical pulses through the resistor in the ignition coil to drive the tachometer. The TCM sets the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) when the Ignition Coil signal is not to factory specifications.
