Description
The Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) lights up when emissions relevant malfunctions are recognized by the Engine Control Module (ECM). The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will set when the Engine Control Module detects a Malfunction Indicator Lamp open circuit.
