Description
The Barometric Pressure (BARO) Sensor is built into the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and it monitors atmospheric pressure. The BARO sensor output voltage is converted to A/D in the sensor inside and transmitted to a CPU by serial communication. When the signal is not sent from the BARO sensor or when the signal sent from the BARO sensor is abnormal and this condition continues for a specified time, the PCM detects a malfunction and stores a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
