Faulty Fuel Pressure Regulator 2
Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 harness is open or shorted
Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)
Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
The Engine Control Module (ECM) controls a series of actuators to ensure optimal engine performance. The control module does this by reading values from a variety of sensors, interprets the data, and adjusts the engine actuators accordingly. The fuel pressure regulator is the solenoid valve that controls the pressure in the fuel rail. The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set when the control circuit is open for greater than 0.275 s.
