Description
When powered, during flash programming of the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) experienced an interruption of the programming procedure due to a software or hardware failure. The repair of this fault centers on verifying the ORC completed successfully the flash programming process completely. The flash programming process is asked to run again in the diagnostics written to possibly clear the internal hardware or software failure.
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the ORC detects a failure of the flash programming process in the bootloader mode not allowing the ORC module to enter the application mode. This DTC will not set as a Stored Code.
